Customer Service Specialist

Location: Brookwood Hospital Main Entrance

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM

Department: Patient Services / Surgical Services

Based at the main entrance of Brookwood Hospital, this role plays a vital part in directing patient flow, supporting communication throughout the surgical process, and ensuring every patient receives outstanding service and care. This position is ideal for someone with a friendly, professional demeanor and a genuine passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

Serve as a welcoming and supportive resource for surgical patients and their families
Assist with coordinating and directing patient flow throughout the surgical process
Address patient concerns and help facilitate prompt resolution of service-related issues
Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, nursing staff, and hospital departments
Maintain accurate documentation while protecting patient confidentiality
Support patient satisfaction initiatives and contribute to a positive patient experience
Build strong working relationships across departments to ensure seamless communication and care

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required
Associate degree preferred
Previous customer service experience preferred, but not required
Healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
