Extruder Operator Location: Loudon, TN Pay: $18.50/hour + $1.00/hour Shift Premium Schedule: 1st Shift: 8: 00 AM – 4: 00 PM 2nd Shift: 4: 00 PM – 12: 00 AM 3rd Shift: 12: 00 AM – 8: 00 AM AtWork Personnel is hiring Extruder Operators for a manufacturing facility in Loudon, TN. Job Summary The Extruder Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring extrusion equipment to support daily production goals. This role ensures materials are processed efficiently, finished products are packaged correctly, and equipment operates safely while maintaining quality standards. Responsibilities Operate and monitor extrusion equipment according to company procedures. Start and stop equipment and monitor production processes. Feed materials into equipment and ensure proper operation. Perform basic equipment cleaning, setup, and changeover activities. Assist with disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling equipment as needed. Inspect finished products to ensure quality requirements are met. Package completed products and move materials to designated areas. Operate a forklift or other material handling equipment as needed. Complete production logs and follow written and verbal work instructions. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines. Assist with other production duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be dependable with strong attendance. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Ability to perform repetitive tasks and physical work throughout the shift. Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as needed. Comfortable operating production equipment. Willingness to learn and cross-train in multiple areas. Preferred Experience Previous experience in manufacturing, extrusion, machine operation, production equipment, material handling, or forklift operation is preferred but not required.
