Broadcast Journalist (Internship) Highland Canine Training, LLC is one of the largest dog training organizations in the southeastern United States, with twelve locations in eight states. Due to the rapid expansion of our business, we are seeking to fill certified professional dog trainer positions in established and new markets across the United States. As an independent contractor, you will have the benefits of running your own business without many of the headaches commonly associated with it. You will set your own schedule. You will manage your own appointments. You will choose the classes and programs you offer. We will help you along the way – providing valuable support, guidance and marketing materials. We will provide you with everything you need to achieve success in this competitive industry. Our model has already proven to be successful in several markets, as evidenced by our expansion into Ohio, Tennessee, Arizona and Washington in the last twelve months. This position is ideal for a dog trainer who already has experience in the industry and is looking for the freedom to break out on their own using a proven system for success. Key Responsibilities Provide dog training services in line with Highland Canine’s specified programs and classes. Respond to customer queries within a reasonable timeframe (typically 24-48 hours). Create, maintain and update a social media presence (Facebook, Instagram) in their market. Complete and manage internal administrative requirements. Maintain Board and Train facilities within local, state and federal requirements. Enroll in a specified number of hours of continuing education to maintain proficiency in the dog training field.
