Inova Franconia Springfield Surgery Center is currently hiring a Full-Time, GI/Endo Registered Nurse to join the team. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:

• Intra-Procedure Assistance : Support the physician with equipment setup, specimen collection, and monitoring the patient’s vitals and comfort during the procedure. Ensure all endoscopic equipment is sterile and functioning properly
• Patient Education and Documentation : Educate patients on post-procedure care, document patient status accurately, and report any changes or complications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of one year intra-op experience in endoscopy/gastroenterology, or a related field
• Strong understanding of endoscopic equipment, patient monitoring, and sedation protocols
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia, or possession of an active multi-state Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon start
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Exceptional patient communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
