Position Purpose AdvandedHEALTH’s Physicians provide high quality medical care by examining patients and treating medical conditions. OB/GYNs care for women during pregnancy. Female only family practice physician interested in a women's only clinic. Job Duties Giving appropriate advice for healthy habits (diet, hygiene, etc.) and preventative actions to promote overall health Conducting routine check-ups on patients Monitoring and treating expecting mothers during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum Educating patients about disease prevention and detention, and reproductive health Reaching an informed diagnosis based on scientific knowledge and the patient’s medical history Prescribing and interpreting lab tests and imaging to obtain more information for underlying abnormalities Prescribing medications and providing comprehensive instructions for administration Collaborating with other physicians, mid-levels, and nurses to form a high performing medical team Keeping detailed medical records Cultivating a climate of trust and compassion for patients Primary care physician for women's only clinic Remaining up to date with continuous learning with developments and best practices in medicine Skills and Abilities Proven experience as a physician Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics Broad knowledge of common medication, side effects, and contradictions Compassionate and approachable In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices Ability to exercise judgement and make decisions Excellent communication skills to communicate with patients, physicians, clients, coworkers, and management staff Ability to perform in a high productivity, fast-paced environment Ability to document accurately and concisely Excellent phone and computer skills Ability to maintain sensitive information in confidence HIPAA and OSHA knowledge Position Requirements Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) Female provider for a women's clinic Valid License to practice in this state Machines/Equipment/Resources used Computer Phone Skills Copier/Scanner/Fax machine iPhone or other phone with web access Physical Requirements Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to sit periodically Ability to walk short distances within the office Ability to bend, kneel, and stoop Has a wide range of motion ability Ability to see and hear well Ability to lift patients with assistance of all sizes.
