The DSP will work one-on-one with the individual to help them obtain meaningful employment, develop workplace skills, and successfully maintain employment over time.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with job searching and identifying appropriate employment opportunities
- Supporting completion of applications and preparation for interviews
- Helping develop workplace readiness, communication, and professional skills
- Providing job coaching and support once employment is obtained
- Helping the individual navigate workplace expectations and routines
- Supporting long-term employment success and independence
- Completing required documentation and communicating with the support team
Position Details:
- Approximately 10 hours per week
- $25.00 per hour
- Flexible schedule
- Opportunity for increased hours
- Meaningful work that allows you to make a direct difference in someone’s independence and employment success
Requirements:
- Must have a reliable vehicle
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to obtain a clean Pennsylvania criminal background check
- Must be dependable, patient, professional, and comfortable working independently
- Employment services, job coaching, human services, or disability-services experience is preferred but not required
