Director of Education & Engagement (Part-Time) Venice, Florida (Local candidates or those planning to relocate within 25 miles) Pay Rate: $30–$32 per hour Do you believe that learning never stops? The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Venice (UUCOV) is seeking a part-time Director of Education & Engagement (DEE) to develop engaging adult education opportunities and coordinate special events that enrich the lives of our members, friends, and visitors. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys lifelong learning, community building, and creating memorable experiences. You'll work with an active, welcoming congregation that values curiosity, compassion, diversity, and social justice. What You’ll Do Develop and coordinate a stimulating adult education program. Plan and organize a variety of congregational events and special programs. Collaborate with staff and volunteers to create meaningful opportunities for engagement. Foster connections among members, visitors, and the broader community. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred (applicants with relevant college coursework and experience will also be considered). Experience in education, nonprofit leadership, event planning, or a related field is highly desirable. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with a diverse community of thoughtful and engaged adults. Must live within 25 miles of Venice, Florida, or be planning to relocate. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
