Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a 24-bed capacity
• Monitor and assess patients using telemetry and maintain accurate, timely documentation in Epic
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4 during day shifts
• Float within scope of practice to other units or sister facilities as needed to meet staffing demands
• Participate in facility orientation and complete required clinical and non-clinical modules

Required Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license – no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Active BLS, NIHSS, and ACLS certifications required
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the contracted facility (local candidates are not eligible)
• Current and valid driver's license or state-issued ID required at time of submission
• Utility bill in the traveler's name with matching address dated within the last three months of projected start date required at time of submission
• No license violations or hits on record

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience charting in Epic EMR
• Comfort with floating to various units or campuses within a multi-facility health system
