Veterinary Technician Supervisor - Overnights

BluePearl Pet Hospital is looking for a passionate Veterinary Technician Supervisor for both our day and evening shifts. We are looking for someone who has the ability to help motivate, engage, and train a team of veterinary professionals in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Pay Pay: $23.00 - $43.00 / hour + competitive shift differentials! Mon - Fri: 6pm to 8am = $3.50 Shift Differential Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $5.00 Shift Differential Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $3.50 Shift Differential Responsibilities Serve as a mentor to technical staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills and business knowledge. Coach team members to be continuously aware and proactive at anticipating and addressing patient and client needs and to seek assistance with escalated, stressful situations. Works with hospital leadership to organize tech and assistant meetings. Organize training schedules for Technician staff. Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek assistance in resolution. Provide feedback leadership and works to develop performance improvement plans. Other related duties as assigned. Why BluePearl? Our passion is pets. Additional Benefits Our Continuing Education Plan includes $500/year reimbursement for CVT and $750/year for VTS. The Continuing Education allowance can roll over up to $1,500 for CVT and VTS associates. Non‑Credentialed, full‑time Paraprofessionals are eligible for an annual CE stipend of $150. Full‑time CVT associates also receive 8 hours of CE paid hours each year. Full‑time VTS associates receive 12 hours of CE paid each year. Paid CE hours can be carried over year to year up to a maximum of 24 hours. Newly hired associates will receive a pro‑rated amount of any CE benefit for which they are eligible.
