Regional Sales Executive Commercial Vehicle Finance Midwest

Altius Search Group is recruiting for an experienced Regional Sales Executive to join the Transportation Finance Division within a growing independent equipment finance company.

Remote within the assigned territory

Minnesota, Arkansas, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin, Kansas, and Nebraska

This individual will develop commercial vehicle and equipment finance business throughout an eight-state territory. This position is ideal for an established sales professional with strong relationships with commercial vehicle dealers, specialty-truck dealers, equipment vendors, and fleet operators.

The Regional Sales Executive will offer financing solutions for commercial vehicles, specialty trucks, fleet equipment, and other transportation-related assets.

Responsibilities

• Develop new equipment finance and leasing business throughout the assigned territory.
• Build and expand relationships with commercial vehicle dealers, equipment vendors, and referral partners.
• Generate opportunities through existing relationships and consistent new-business development.
• Work directly with customers to understand their equipment and financing needs.
• Structure and present financing solutions that support customer objectives
• Manage opportunities from initial prospecting through credit approval, documentation, and funding
• Maintain an active pipeline and provide accurate production forecasts
• Coordinate with credit, documentation, and operations to deliver a responsive customer experience
• Attend dealer meetings, industry events, and customer appointments
• Travel throughout the territory as needed

Job requirements

• Successful sales experience in equipment finance, commercial vehicle finance, transportation finance, or a closely related field
• Established relationships with commercial vehicle dealers, specialty-truck dealers, equipment vendors or fleet operators
• Demonstrated ability to originate and close equipment finance transactions
• Strong understanding of commercial credit, leasing and equipment finance structures
• Proven ability to develop a territory and generate new business independently
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills
• Organized, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple transactions
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory
• Residence within the territory is preferred

The strongest candidate will understand the commercial vehicle market and bring relationships that can create early opportunities. This person must also have the discipline to expand beyond an existing network by developing new dealer, vendor, and customer relationships throughout the territory.
