ABOUT THE ROLE

Open to all MN

As an Associate Territory Sales Manager , you’ll play a key role in driving sales growth and building strong relationships with customers across your assigned territory. This position offers hands-on experience in inside and outside sales, field operations, customer engagement, and product knowledge. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the full cycle of the building products business—from warehouse to showroom to job site.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Sales Support: Partner with Territory Sales Managers to service existing accounts and identify opportunities for new business.
• Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Product Expertise: Develop in-depth knowledge of core product lines such as windows, doors, siding, and trim.
• CRM & Sales Tools: Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) systems and order entry tools to manage customer data and sales activities.
• Inside Sales Collaboration: Work closely with inside sales and operations teams on quoting, order processing, and customer follow-up.
• Field Experience: Participate in customer meetings, site visits, and field support alongside Territory Sales and Regional Managers.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Motivation: Self-starter with strong initiative and a desire to grow a career in sales.
• Communication Skills: Clear and professional communicator with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Adaptability: Eagerness to learn, take feedback, and navigate multiple aspects of the business.
• Teamwork: Strong collaborator who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Customer Service Mindset: Committed to delivering excellent service and support.
• Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools and basic digital systems (CRM, quoting, etc.).
• Transportation: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for field travel.
• Ideal current location: Minneapolis/Southern MN
• Open to future relocation within Midwest region
• ~50% + travel based on needs within the region

The US average earnings for this base salary + commission-based role is $70K +20K SIP+ $750 per month auto allowance + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. (Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week.)
