Staff Accountant (Contract)

Vaco Los Angeles is partnering with a confidential client to identify an experienced Staff Accountant to support a major accounting clean‑up initiative. This role is ideal for someone who excels in high‑volume reconciliations, complex problem‑solving, and stabilizing incomplete or inaccurate financial data. The contract role can pay up to $38/hr, depending on experience. NetSuite experience is a must. Location will be hybrid in Hollywood, CA. Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries Perform month‑end and year‑end close activities Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and general ledger accounts Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable as needed Maintain fixed assets and depreciation schedules Support financial statement preparation and variance analysis Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and GAAP Assist with audits and special accounting projects Utilize NetSuite for daily accounting functions, reporting, and reconciliations Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of accounting experience Strong experience with NetSuite required Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Vaco Recruiter Services
