Welcome to FitLife in Columbus, GA!

The General Manager role is an exciting opportunity where you'll operate the Columbus, GA location. This position oversees all operations within the health club, manages and leads the team in acquiring production goals that meet the business's financial needs for growth, ensures the highest quality of service for our members, works directly with the Assistant manager daily to supervise the sales team, and creates a fun work environment for our employees and members. 

So, who are we looking for?

Someone who has Health Club Management Experience.

• While this is not a deal-breaker, it is preferred.

Someone who understands and thrives in production-based business.

• At the end of the day, numbers are what matters.
• You MUST be comfortable in coaching others and motivating a sales team. Therefore, sales experience is a plus.
• You will be coached and have the tools to get you started, but you must be very good at getting things done.

Someone competitive by nature.

• You work hard and go straight for the goal.
• You strive for growth and success.
• We are NOT looking for someone who needs constant management or who can only do exactly what they’re told and exactly how to do it.

Someone who is assertive but also a team player.

• You aren’t afraid to take charge.
• You are not only willing to turn plans into actions but, also take suggestions and brainstorm with your team to move forward with our common goals.
• As a team leader, you must inspire confidence, optimism, and trust in those around you. This requires a certain level of social intelligence, as you will be working with many different personality types on staff and with members.
