Job Description

As a Warehouse Associate, you will utilize an overhead crane to safely lift, move, and position loads. Your role involves ensuring the load is securely attached and within lifting limits, maintaining the crane's cleanliness, and tracking inventory in your assigned bay. Additionally, you will load structural steel beams onto semi-trucks based on order sheets.

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead cranes to move and position loads.
• Ensure the safety and security of loads during lifting operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of the crane equipment.
• Track inventory in the designated bay area.
• Load structural steel beams onto semi-trucks according to order sheets.

Essential Skills

• Experience operating equipment in a warehouse environment, including forklifts or electric pallet jacks.
• Proficiency in material handling and order picking.
• Prior experience operating an overhead crane is highly preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ months operating a forklift (sit-down, stand-up, or high reach).
• 6+ months operating any sort of heavy equipment.
• 6+ months of general warehouse experience.
• Experience with RF scanners and other heavy equipment is a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
