Caregiver Position at Senior Helpers

As a Licensed Home Care Agency in the State of California, caregivers are required to be registered with the State as an HCA (Home Care Aide) to be eligible for employment.

As a personal care caregiver with Senior Helpers, you will handle:

• Personal care (some bed bound, bathing, dressing, linen change, etc.)
• Meal preparation
• Companionship
• Medication reminders
• Light housekeeping
• Follow client care plan and provide updates as needed

• Work one-on-one with your clients in order to build relationships
• Receive specialized training from Senior Helpers and opportunities for professional certifications

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Registered as an HCA (California Home Care Aide)
• Live scan (DOJ/FBI)
• CPR Certification
• Current Negative TB Test

Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:

We provide all employees with gloves and masks upon request and provide these supplies to all of our clients in home as well.

Education:

• High school or equivalent

Experience:

• Personal Care Caregiving: 1 year

License/Certification:

• Home Care Aide Registration (PER ID #) (Required)
