Retail Service Specialist - Union GBA

Compensation Pay Range: $17.90 – $23.25 per hour (actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location). Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and premiums that may be paid on an hourly basis in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed; multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met. Responsibilities Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers. Supervise the customer service levels in the retail showroom and oversee team members’ execution of customer service programs such as Related Sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot. Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy. Ensure all buy online / ship to store, hub to store transfers, store‑to‑store transfers, and DC add orders are processed in a timely manner and customers are notified upon shipment arrivals. Ensure special orders and outside purchases are handled efficiently and according to procedure, utilizing the electronic outside purchase order ledger. Ensure retail customer returns and exchanges are processed in an efficient and friendly manner; refunds are issued accurately using the correct payment methods; returned merchandise is staged in the returns area correctly. Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, is invoiced before product leaves the store. Ensure Zipline messages are communicated and Image Maker and merchandising tasks are delegated and completed as assigned. Ensure team members are adhering to the posted work schedule, changes/deviations are approved by management, and clock‑in/out complies with company policy. Perform all store opening/closing duties, including day‑end procedures, verifying/securing money and deposits, preparing bank deposits, ensuring night‑security lights are on, locking doors, arming/disarming security alarms, and checking/locking delivery vehicle(s). All other duties as assigned. Requirements Strong communication skills. Ability to obtain RSS Certification. Desired Qualifications Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts. Knowledge of automotive systems and repair. ASE Certification. Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired). Benefits Competitive wages & paid time off.
