Construction Project Engineer

Overview A globally reputable, multi-billion-dollar industrial manufacturing organization seeks to hire a senior-level Project Engineer due to their continued growth and investment in their Richmond, VA production campus. Reporting to the Site Engineering Director, this individual will be responsible for the execution of plant and facilities projects for the site. This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity. Base pay range $125,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr Additional compensation types Annual Bonus Responsibilities Design and execute multiple, concurrent construction and facilities projects, ensuring employee safety, regulatory compliance (permitting, licensing) Hire and manage internal and external/contractor personnel. Monitor and track project progress to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets. Communicate project progress reports to senior leadership. Negotiate with vendors to secure best prices. Support manufacturing and industrial engineering departments as needed. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree required (Engineering strongly preferred). 4+ years of experience leading facilities, construction, and/or CAPEX projects within manufacturing environments. Highly proficient with managing and tracking budgets. Deep understanding of project oversight, permitting, and build processes.
