Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist in Alabaster, AL

Key Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology required
• ASHA Certification (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply
• Valid Alabama SLP license required
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
• Comprehensive knowledge of assessment, evaluation, and development of IEPs
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments for students
• Deliver evaluations and contribute to IEP planning and meetings
• Provide direct therapy services to students in line with IEP goals
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate with staff and families
• Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Participate in ongoing professional development as required
