Sports Medicine / Internal Medicine / Family Medicine Physician Towson MD We are seeking a compassionate Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician with sports medicine background to join our medical practices around the Baltimore area. Our ideal Physician has tact and skill in patient management, excellent communication skills, and enjoys working as a part of a comprehensive team to offer our patients the best care possible, that they need and deserve. The physician will be providing coverage at our offices in the Greater Baltimore area (Lutherville, Columbia, Dundalk, Glen Burnie). This position will require a strong knowledge of the musculoskeletal system/injuries as many patients seen within this office have orthopedic/MSK conditions. Our extensive slate of office-based diagnostic, surgical and rehabilitation services, provided by our team of compassionate and skilled professionals, are medically managed from evaluation through treatment to ensure patients have the best achievable outcomes. Job Duties Patient care and management – initial medical consults and patient follow up Recommend tests and conduct diagnostic testing Order diagnostic labs/imaging Oversee the patient’s diagnosis and treatment Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury Documentation – timely and accurate Order/refer to in house therapies Collaboration with colleagues and staff for comprehensive patient care Requirements MD/DO from an accredited educational institution BCBE Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of MD Favorable malpractice history Schedule Full time – No Call or Weekends Salary $250k per year (depending on specialty/training) Benefits Company paid malpractice insurance PTO and paid holidays Medical, dental, and vision benefits Company paid life insurance and long-term disability insurance Short-term disability EAP 401(k) retirement plan Paid CME days #J-18808-Ljbffr HCRC consulting
