Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: State or Compact license required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred Travel experience required Experience with Epic charting system required Description: Provide care to labor and delivery patients. Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed. Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs. Support patients during labor and delivery processes. Assist with high-risk deliveries and other complex procedures. Perform assessments and document findings accurately. Educate parents on newborn care and breastfeeding. Follow established protocols for infection prevention. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care. Participate in continuous learning and professional development. Adhere to all safety and regulatory requirements. Manage patient care in accordance with established guidelines and standards. Provide emotional support and education to patients and families. Demonstrate proficiency in necessary clinical skills and procedures.
