Pediatric Hospitalist Medical Director

Pediatrix is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Pediatric Hospitalist Medical Director to lead our esteemed healthcare team at Ohio Health - a leading medical facility in Athens, OH. Job Description: Medical Director to lead a team of 3 Pediatric Hospitalists Newborn nursery care with NICU support from Pediatrix Neonatologists 24/7 on-call coverage -- round and go model with call from home Pediatric Hospitalists will perform circumcisions Pediatric Consultations: Provide expert Pediatric consultations to the Emergency Department, offering timely assessments, recommendations, and treatment plans for pediatric patients. Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with a team of Pediatric Hospitalists and Neonatologists to provide coordinated and comprehensive care to patients, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI): The ability to participate in CQI initiatives and clinical research projects, contributing to the enhancement of patient care outcomes and best practices. Knowledge Exchange: Take advantage of the opportunity to exchange ideas and best practices with a large network of Pediatrix providers, including over 400 NICUs and several thousand providers.
