This fully functioning Level III Trauma hospital operates with 260 beds and maintains the clinical infrastructure necessary to support full scope urological care delivery. The facility utilizes EPIC EMR for clinical documentation and care coordination, and is staffed with RNs, APPs, and on-site Anesthesia to support clinicians throughout each assigned coverage period. Established clinical protocols and perioperative workflows are in place to facilitate coordinated patient management.

Recreational destinations include Lake Pueblo State Park, the Pueblo River Trail System, and the Riverwalk, which features dining, shops, and opportunities for paddle boating and kayaking. Clinicians may also explore cultural venues such as the Leonardo da Vinci Museum of North America, the Pueblo Zoo, the Pueblo Weisbrod Aircraft Museum, and the Rosemount Museum, alongside hiking, biking, rock climbing, and fishing throughout the area during time away from clinical duties.

About the Clinician's Workday

This locum tenens assignment requires a urologist to provide 24-hour call coverage for full scope urological services on an on-site basis, with shifts running Friday at 7:00 AM through Monday at 7:00 AM. Clinicians will manage urological cases across all age groups within a Level III Trauma facility, maintaining continuous on-site availability throughout all designated weekend coverage periods. Clinical documentation is to be completed using the EPIC EMR system. Board certification in Urology is required for consideration, and call coverage is an integral component of this position.
