Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid and Night shifts available Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years in an emergency department License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: - Epic experience - Every other weekend availability Description: This position includes variable shifts. Shifts will be from 1 PM to 1 AM, 4 PM to 4 AM, and/or 7 PM to 7 AM. Charge experience is preferred. Patient ratios are 4:1 for days and nights. Candidates should have experience in managing various emergency conditions. Skills required include blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, and management of dysrhythmias. Experience with triage and starting/maintaining IVs is essential. Candidates will work with patients across all age groups, including neonates, adolescents, and geriatrics. Daily census and patient visits average around 100. Interdisciplinary support is provided by various specialists. Compliance with work history verification over the last 7 years is required. Pre-approved time off is limited to a maximum of 7 days per contract. Candidates must be willing to commit to weekend shifts as scheduled. Modules are to be completed during orientation and will be recorded through e-learning.
