Job Opportunity: Anesthesiologists (General and Cardiac)

Our organization, situated in Syracuse, New York, is actively looking to recruit skilled Anesthesiologists, both general and cardiac, to enhance our dynamic team of seasoned professionals. This role involves providing coverage in various settings, including hospital operating rooms, the endoscopy unit, the cardiac lab, and the ambulatory surgery center.

Position Highlights:

• Employment Type: Full-time, 2100 hours annually
• Case Types: Vascular, orthopedics, spine, general surgery, urology, obstetrics, gynecology, and cardiac cases
• Pediatric Cases: Minimal, primarily at the ASC
• Call Schedule:
  • 1 weekend per month
  • 3 in-house overnight calls every 2 months
  • 4 second calls every 2 months

Qualifications:

• New York State licensure and DEA registration are mandatory
• Board Certified or Eligible in Anesthesiology

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a comprehensive recruitment package that includes:

• Base Compensation: $575,000 for call-taking positions
• Additional Stipend: $25,000 for cardiac anesthesia
• The stated salary represents the starting range and does not encompass productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift pay, or other cash compensation applicable to the role.
• Providers typically receive a CME allowance along with other benefits from their medical group employer.
• Sign-On Bonus: $125,000
• Retention Stipend: Available for the first 2 years
• Premium Pay: Options for excess call pay
• Comprehensive Benefits: Including health, vision, and dental insurance
• Paid malpractice coverage, including post-employment tail coverage
• CME Time: 10 weeks paid time away from practice with a $4,500 annual expense allowance
• Retirement Savings: Program with employer matching
