We currently have an opportunity available for a Service Porter. Qualified candidates will share our passion for great customer service and have a drive to go above and beyond the minimum standard.

Service Porter

The Service Valet will park and retrieve service clients' cars in a friendly and professional manner.

Job Responsibilities

• Parks cars in designated areas
• Retrieves cars for clients
• Keeps service drive free of vehicles
• Maintains strict adherence to dealership policy on client vehicle care and operation
• Help clients transfer luggage or packages between cars
• Assists techs in moving inoperable vehicles
• Alerts Manager to any damage to clients’ vehicles
• Responsible for the maintenance of the express shop (clean/mop/trash pick up, etc.)
• Assists with housekeeping on the service drive keeping it clean and clear of debris

Requirements

No prior experience necessary

Must be able to pass pre-employment screening to include: MVR, drug screen and an extensive background check

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations (Including Driver's License)

Operator's Driver's License (must be insurable).

The company was founded by Frank Gillman when the first dealership opened on Milam Street in downtown Houston. Frank knew the importance of customer loyalty. Now run by Frank's Granddaughter Stacey Gillman, under her leadership, the Gillman Companies have grown to become one of the largest retail automotive groups in America.  And today, the third Gillman generation is active in the business.
