Location: Bakersfield, California

Contract Type:  Contract

Shift Type:  Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM with rotational call after hours; Friday 4:00 PM through Monday 7:30 AM call coverage

Hours per Week:  40

Candidate Pay Rate:  $83 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures with precision and care
• Support two campuses while delivering high-quality imaging services
• Collaborate with radiologists and nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care
• Operate advanced equipment including GE Innova and MedRad Injector
• Manage an average caseload of 2-4 procedures daily with attention to detail
• Provide on-call support for nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

Qualifications

• ARRT (RT)(R) certification preferred
• VI certification a plus
• Experience with Cerner/RadNet EMR systems
• Comfort working with diverse patient populations including inmates
• Ability to handle rotational call and weekend coverage

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of interventional radiology techniques
• Familiarity with GE Logic Book and Angiojet systems
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Attention to detail in high-volume procedural settings
• Adaptability to support multiple campuses and varied case types
