Role: Pet Resort Guest Service Representative

Job Summary:
As a Pet Resort Guest Service Representative at K9 Resorts of Turnersville, you are the face of our company. Your primary goal is to provide every client and their dog with a “wow experience,” making them feel comfortable, confident, and like VIPs. You will uphold our mission and values, ensuring every interaction is a positive one.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a trusted resource for prospective and existing customers, taking the time to understand their needs, answer questions, recommend appropriate services, and help them feel confident choosing K9 Resorts.
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through proactive, personalized communication before, during, and after their pet’s stay.
• Manage prospective customers throughout the sales journey—from initial inquiry through tour, evaluation, first reservation, and ultimately becoming a loyal K9 Resorts customer.
• Conduct proactive outbound calls, emails, and customer follow-ups to prospective and existing customers, keeping them informed of relevant services, packages, promotions, and upcoming events.
• Consistently work toward established sales and relationship-building goals.
• Conduct engaging, personalized facility tours that showcase the K9 Resorts experience, communicate our standards of care, and address each prospective customer’s individual questions and priorities.
• Follow up with prospective customers after inquiries and tours to answer questions, overcome concerns, and help guide them toward the appropriate next step.
• Create an exceptional first and last impression by greeting customers with a genuine and enthusiastic tone, anticipating needs, and delivering a polished, luxury hospitality experience at every interaction.
• Manage customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person with confidence, professionalism, urgency, and strong knowledge of K9 Resorts services and offerings.
• Safely escorting dogs to their accommodations after check in and to the lobby at check out.
• Ensuring accurate check-in, check-out, reservation, and customer account procedures within the POS system.
• Follow all operational procedures and service standards outlined in the K9 Resorts Operations Manual.
• Assist with resort operations as directed by management, including maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the lobby, boarding and daycare accommodations, monitoring daycare, and bathing dogs.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift at least 20 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some weekend and holiday hours are required.
