Job Summary:
This is a travel Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Labor and Delivery (Lloyd and Delivery Department) at a healthcare facility located in Wichita, Kansas. The role involves working in a Delivery Room environment, with a focus on high-risk labor and delivery care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Wichita, Kansas
• Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current acute care hospital Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) experience with a minimum of 1-year recent experience; valid Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) - Cardiology or American Women's Hospitals and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with circulating cesarean sections and high-risk labor, including labor, delivery, and postpartum procedures such as active labor and magnesium sulfate management.
• Additional Information: The unit utilizes Meditech Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and CPN monitors. The team practices a self-scheduling approach, fostering staff satisfaction, and maintains a team nursing model with experienced staff members. The unit has a recent initiation of an OB hospitalist program to support residency and triage nurses.
