Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU Float RN with at least 3 years of specialty experience and Epic proficiency for a day shift position in California.

Details

• Float pool assignment covering ICU throughout the hospital system
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 36-48 hours per week
• Requires Epic EMR experience

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required
• PALS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of recent ICU experience required, within the last 3 months
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• No prior disciplinary action on license permitted

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned ICU patients according to established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct nursing staff activities and coordinate care across disciplines
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, humane, and effective care
• Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
• All required vaccinations are a condition of employment, subject to medical or religious exemptions
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
