An established small animal practice is seeking a Medical Director to lead its clinical team while continuing to practice high-quality veterinary medicine. This role combines hands-on patient care with medical leadership responsibilities, offering the opportunity to guide clinical standards, mentor fellow veterinarians, and contribute to the continued growth and success of the hospital. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical and surgical care to small animal patients
• Oversee clinical standards and ensure quality patient outcomes
• Mentor and support associate veterinarians and clinical team members
• Develop and maintain medical protocols and standard operating procedures
• Partner with hospital leadership to align medical and operational goals
• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree
• Active veterinary license (or ability to obtain licensure)
• Strong clinical and surgical proficiency
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to high standards of care and team development
