This contract opportunity calls for a dedicated professional to serve onsite, guiding learners with a range of disabilities throughout the 2026-2027 academic year.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Washington State Special Education Teacher certification required
• Experience supporting students with various disabilities at the middle school level
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, individualized instruction tailored to a diverse caseload of middle school students
• Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with state and federal requirements
• Monitor student progress, adapt teaching strategies, and maintain accurate documentation
• Work closely with general education teachers to coordinate accommodations and modifications
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student achievement and needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-related activities
