Nurse Practitioner (NP): Part-Time

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our healthcare team at the Kendall County Jail located in Boerne, TX. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a correctional setting. As an NP, you will work independently ensuring that patients receive the best possible care while adhering to established protocols and standards. Qualifications Valid, unencumbered Nurse Practitioners license in the state of TX Valid BLS – Must be Red Cross or American Heart Association Valid DEA Current PPD, QuantiFERON, or CXR Must have your own supervising physician Schedule consists of 4 hours per week to assist in medication management and urgent intervention On-call 24/7 stipend (rarely called) Flexible Schedule: Generally 1 day/week (it can be on a weekend!) Coverage by MedTrust malpractice insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr
