Associate Veterinarian - Lynchburg, Virginia

A veterinary hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its established and collaborative team. This role offers the opportunity to practice high-quality medicine in a supportive environment while building strong relationships with clients and patients.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventive care for companion animals
Perform wellness exams, diagnostics, and routine procedures
Diagnose and develop treatment plans for a variety of medical conditions
Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care
Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure efficient and high-quality patient care
Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation
Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture

Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution
Active or eligible veterinary license
Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
