Pay Rate

$26 - $28 with plenty overtime possibilities

Shift/Schedule

• Monday – Friday 7am-3:30pm - Must be able to work weekends
• Overtime paid for all hours worked over 8 hours per day
• Overnight travel required for many routes
• Hotel accommodations provided for overnight stays

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Class C vehicle and flatbed truck in compliance with DOT and company policies.
• Transport products and materials to customer locations while maintaining on-time delivery schedules.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Secure loads properly and verify load accuracy before departure.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and receipts.
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and operations personnel.
• Follow all safety procedures while handling materials and operating equipment.
• Travel overnight as required and stay in company-approved lodging.

Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Previous delivery, transportation, or commercial driving experience preferred.
• Comfortable driving long distances, including overnight travel.
• Ability to assist with loading and unloading materials and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.

• IL Paid Leave for All Workers

An employee that works in Illinois is entitled to accrue and use up to 40 hours of paid leave during a 12 month period or a pro rata number of hours of paid leave under the provisions of the State of Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers Act. The 12 month accrual period is considered to begin for new employees on the employees first day of employment. An employee is entitled to begin using earned and accrued paid leave time 90 calendar days after commencement of employment. Paid leave under this Act shall accrue at the rate of one hour of paid leave for every 40 hours worked up to 40 hours of paid leave

• 401(k) with company match for eligible employees.

Eligibility: Active employees with one year of work and during that one year has completed 1,000 hours of service and is at least 21 years of age. Entry dates into the 401(k) are: 1/1 or 7/1 following the one year of service and completing 1,000 hours of work.

The company will match 100% of the first 3% of the employee contribution. As well as, match 50% of the next 2% of the employee contribution. (The company contribution/match maximum is 4%)
