CNC Programmer/Machinist

Randstad is seeking experienced CNC Programmer/Machinists to support production in the Providence Area. The candidate will support from CAD/CAM programming through machine setup and first-article inspection.  The ideal candidate will have advanced machining knowledge, CAM programming experience, and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize CNC processes.  If you are an advanced CNC Machinist with programming experience, then this is an opportunity for you! This is a Permanent Placement Position!  Pay Rate: $30.00 - $32.00/hour (by level of skill/experience) Hours: Monday through Friday    - 7:00AM -  3:30PM - 11:00AM - 9:00PM ( Must be able to work both shifts; days will vary based on business need) Benefits: - Medical, Dental, Vision - Paid Vacation - 401K - Life Insurance

Responsibilities

- Setup and operate CNC Mills and/or Lathes

- Create and modify CNC programs using CAD/CAM software

- Edit and troublshoot G-code at the machine

- Interpret blueprints and GD&T requirements

- Select tooling, speeds & feeds for various materials

- Perform first-article inspections using preceision measuring devices

- Experience with Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or similar software

- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings

- Understanding of machining geometry and tolerancin

The essential functions of this role include:
