We are seeking a Structured Cabling Technician to support data center and commercial installation projects. This role involves pulling, dressing, labeling, and terminating copper and fiber cabling while working alongside experienced technicians. Candidates should have a strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and the ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.

What You'll Do

• Pull, dress, and label Cat5e/Cat6 cabling according to industry standards
• Perform RJ45 terminations and patch panel terminations
• Complete punch-downs and cable identification tasks
• Assist with testing copper and fiber cabling using testing equipment
• Support fiber cable dressing and handling activities
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Take direction from lead technicians and project supervisors

What You Bring

• 1-3 years of experience in construction, data center, or low-voltage environments
• Experience with structured cabling, Cat5e/Cat6 installations, and punch-downs
• Knowledge of copper and fiber optic cabling practices
• Strong attendance record and positive attitude
• Ability to commit to a Monday-Saturday schedule with overtime requirements
• Comfortable working at heights, on lifts, and in construction environments

Nice to Have

• Fiber optic installation experience
• Scissor lift or boom lift experience
• Data center experience
• Familiarity with Fluke, EXFO, or similar testing equipment

This is a Contract position based out of Saint George, SC.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
