Power Platform Infrastructure Lead

Job Title: Power Platform Infrastructure LeadJob Location: London, UK, FTE/ HybridJob Type :ContractROLE PURPOSEThis role will provide technical leadership on Microsofts Power Platform and engage with other Infrastructure Engineers, Technical Leads, Delivery Leads, and Architects to deliver solutions to agreed designs, patterns and standards. You will manage the implementation of standards, patterns and guardrails for the environment and work closely with the Power Platform PPO and team to provide guidance, mentorship, and oversight to teams using Power platform solutions, ensuring the reliability, scalability, development, and security of the environment.The role holder will champion and lead on taking forward Power Platform as a solution for RSA.Excellent relationships with stakeholders are key to success so proactive and clear communication is a must. You will be responsible for understanding the needs of the platforms customers (both internal and external) and working closely with the platform team to ensure the optimal solution is delivered.The Infrastructure Lead must work closely with the Lead Product Owner and other PPOs to ensure alignment, consistency of approach and identification of efficiencies across the platform as well as the wider CCoE team to ensure consistency of standards and guardrails across our cloud and SaaS platforms.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESLead on the design, development and maintenance of Microsoft Power PlatformEnsure we have the appropriate guardrails and controls to support the use of Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Microsoft Co-pilot Studio and other Power Platform related technologies to enable the creation of low code solutions.Lead on engagement with stakeholders to understand business needs required for the development of Power Platform.Support end-user adoption and best practice use of Power Platform technologies.Lead on the creation of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines for Power Platform and Azure Services in conjunction with DevOps.Take a leading role in helping understand technical skills and capability required now and in the future.Task manage technical staff resource as required, setting them clear objectives and tracking them to completion whilst providing appropriate feedback.CUSTOMER CONDUCT FRAMEWORKThis accountability appears in all role profiles - please do not delete when editingUnderstand how FCA Conduct Rules apply to you as an employee of RSA and specifically, how they apply to this role and understand RSAs Conduct Framework, how it applies to this role, and the behaviours / actions that you need to demonstrate in consistently delivering good customer outcomesFUNCTIONAL / TECHNICAL SKILLS5+ years knowledge of Power Platform components (including Power Apps / Power Automate / Power BI / Microsoft Co-pilot Studio)Strong knowledge of wider Microsoft M365 product suite (including Entra and SharePoint)Some scripting or programming knowledge (e.g. C#, ASP.Net, Ruby, Java, Python, Power Fx, JavaScript)Experience of implementing and managing Power Platform components and infrastructure solutions and administration tasks within the Power Platform environmentExperience of optimising power apps to increase performanceEvidence of planning and managing significant technical changeEffective communication skills, including the ability to interact and build working relationships with stakeholders (both technical and non-technical)Experience of building strong and effective relationships with both internal and external teamsExcellent attention to detail.
