Job Description

Join our team as a Packer in the Fishers/Indianapolis area. This position offers competitive hourly pay with the opportunity for overtime. The role involves working primarily on the first shift from Monday to Thursday, 6:30 am to 4:00 pm, and Friday, 6:30 am to 10:30 am, with potential overtime until 3:00 pm. During holiday weeks, the schedule reverts back to 8-hour days. Attendance is crucial and strictly enforced.

Responsibilities

• Assemble care kits and diabetic testing meters with light assembly of product and literature.
• Stand in the same location for up to 9 hours per day.
• Pack shipping boxes, including labeling and palatalizing.
• Perform general 5S and housekeeping duties as necessary.
• Conduct quality inspections as assigned.

Essential Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Knowledge of industry best practices.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to read work instructions.
• Experience in hand assembly and labeling.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled environment standing alongside 2-3 other employees, focusing on kitting and packaging small components for the medical industry. Employees are expected to adhere to a strict attendance policy while maintaining a professional demeanor.

This is a Contract position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Indianapolis,IN.
