CNC Programmer / CNC Setup Machinist – Direct HireLocation: Manitowoc, WIPay: $26–$35/hour, based on experienceShift: 2nd Shift – Tuesday through Thursday, 2:45 PM–2:45 AMSchedule: Work 36 hours, get paid for 40!Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct HirePosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / Setup Machinist for a direct-hire opportunity with an established precision machining and manufacturing company in Manitowoc, WI.The ideal candidate will have hands-on CNC programming, machine setup, and troubleshooting experience. This position requires someone who can work independently, interpret blueprints, make program adjustments, and ensure quality production.Job ResponsibilitiesCreate, modify, and troubleshoot CNC programs.Set up and operate CNC machining equipment.Perform machine setups, changeovers, and tear downs.Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.Adjust tooling, machine offsets, speeds, and feeds as needed.Inspect completed parts using precision measuring instruments.Identify and troubleshoot machining or programming issues.Maintain quality standards and ensure parts meet specifications.Follow established safety procedures and production requirements.QualificationsPrevious CNC programming and setup experience required.Experience with CNC mills, including vertical and horizontal machining centers, preferred.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and machining specifications.Knowledge of G-code, tooling, machine offsets, and machining processes.Experience with precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and calipers.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Why Consider This Opportunity?Work 36 hours and get paid for 40!Three-day workweek – Tuesday through Thursday.Four consecutive days off every week.Competitive pay based on experience.Direct-hire opportunity with an established manufacturing company.Opportunity to utilize advanced CNC programming and machining skills.Apply today to learn more about this CNC Programmer opportunity in Manitowoc, WI!You should be proficient in:CNC ProgrammingG-CodeMachines & technologies you'll use:Horizontal Machining Center (3-4 axis)Vertical Lathe #J-18808-Ljbffr Argus Manufacturing Services
