Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - North TX Division.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Ability to work independently with critical care-level patients. Able to triage levels of care and cover multiple floors.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Level 3 NICU experience.

Unit Details: Typical procedures include neb treatments, vent checks, BiPAP checks, ABG draws, intubation assist, extubation, bronch assist, PEP therapy, run lactic, EKG, and patient assessment. Uses Servo I, Servo U, V60, Hamilton C-1, Airvo, Volara, and Vest equipment.

Shift & Scheduling: Rotating weekends.

Floating Requirements: Needed for ICU, PCU, ED, and floors.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.

10 days maximum time off
