Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Monitor and control all buffet stands to ensure quality assurance standards. Embrace the Customer 1st strategy and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of others.Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated by answering questions regarding products sold within the department and throughout the storeGain and maintain knowledge of products sold within the department and be able to respond to questions and make suggestions about productsInform customers on ingredients in each recipeProvide customers with fresh products that they have ordered and the correct portion size (or as close as)Check product quality to ensure freshnessLabel, stock and inventory department merchandiseDisplay a positive attitudeUnderstand the store's layout and be able to locate products when requested by customerMaintain an awareness of inventory/stocking conditions note any discrepancies in inventoryAdhere to all food safety regulations and guidelinesEnsure proper temperatures in cases and coolers are maintainedReinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures and identify unsafe conditions and notify store managementNotify management of customer or employee accidentsReport all safety risks or issues and illegal activity, including: robbery, theft or fraud to store managementMust be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodationEnsure that all garbage cans in the department have tightly closed lids on top of them at all times; it is a MUST that gloves get changed after each garbage disposalPreferred QualificationsAbility to deliver friendly, courteous, prompt customer service18 years or olderMust be able to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to read, write and do simple math problemsAbility to interpret, understand and follow instructions and solve problemsAble to work well with others as a team memberA passion for serving people5 days per week, Sunday and Saturday working days up to 40 hours
