Product Owner

Our client is seeking an experienced Product Owner to join their team in assisting with an enterprise wide data modernization. You will be responsible for coordinating effort across various work streams and driving process and documentation between teams. You will be working closely with C-Suite level leadership for this multi-year initiative. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on enterprise data and a proven track record of redefining agile practices within teams. This role requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive product vision and deliver exceptional results. Key Responsibilities: Product Vision and Strategy: Define and communicate the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. Backlog Management: Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that the team is working on the most valuable features and improvements. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including business leaders, developers, and data scientists, to gather requirements and ensure alignment on product goals. Agile Practices: Lead the effort to redefine and improve the team's agile practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance. Enterprise Data Management: Oversee the integration and utilization of enterprise data to drive product decisions and enhance user experiences. User Stories and Acceptance Criteria: Write clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring that the development team has a thorough understanding of requirements. Product Roadmap: Develop and maintain a product roadmap that outlines key milestones and deliverables. Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance metrics to measure the success of product initiatives and inform future decisions. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role. Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience in redefining agile practices. Proven experience working with enterprise data and leveraging it to drive product decisions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
