Job Description

Company Information : A Fabrication Shop on the South Side of Indianapolis is hiring a Entry-Level Brake Press Operator . This role is ideal for someone with basic brake press experience or knowledge, who is comfortable working in a hands-on shop environment and can pass a tape measure test.

Brake Press Operator's Pay & Benefits:

$20–$22/HR
401(k), PTO, and paid holidays
Evaluation to Hire

Brake Press Operator's Schedule:

1st Shift
7AM – 4PM (times are flexible after training is complete)

Brake Press Operator's Job Duties:

Operate brake press machinery to bend and form metal parts
Inspect parts to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards
Use quality tooling and measuring instruments to verify dimensions
Perform first article and incoming inspections
Report quality issues or equipment concerns to management

Brake Press Operator's Requirements:

Basic understanding or experience with brake press operations
Mechanically inclined and comfortable in a fabrication shop setting
Ability to read a tape measure and pass a tape measure test
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
