Responsibilities:

• Complete daily cycle counts of inventory.
• Study and enter shipping notices, BOL's, invoices, orders, and other records necessary to determine shipping priorities.
• Manage accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
• Make arrangements with carriers for pickups for domestic shipments.
• Follow up via phone and email with the client and carriers.
• Prepare items for shipment and ensure lanes are properly stacked.
• Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives.

Requirements:

• Must have knowledge of Freight and DOT.
• Must know how to load shipments onto semi-trailers.
• CDL is highly preferred but not required.
• Basic computer/Microsoft Excel is required.
• Ability to work overtime, as needed.
• At least one year of Shipping/Receiving experience.

Summary

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 am-3:30 pm.
• This position will require the person to complete daily inventory counts outside and spend time inside the warehouse helping pull hardware or organize the inside shipping area.
• Attendance/being on time is very important.
