Back Staff Accountant Staff Accountant Scarborough , Maine Perm 60000 Sep 18, 2026 $60000.00 - $75000.00 KBW is partnered with a client in their search for a Staff Accountant in the Scarborough, ME area. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in general accounting principles and an interest in continuing to grow their accounting experience. This position will support month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, and other accounting activities while working closely with the broader finance and operations teams. Responsibilities: Support month-end close, including accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, inventory adjustments, and revenue entries Prepare financial statements and related accounting reports Assist with annual budgets and financial projections Research and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate financial records Support internal audits and special accounting projects Partner with accounting and operations teams on reporting and process improvements Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required Prior accounting or related experience Strong Excel skills NetSuite experience preferred Compensation: Starting at $65,000 with flexibility based on experience #J-18808-Ljbffr KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting
