Job Details Location: Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania 18711 Setting: NICU IV / Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN) Duration: 13 weeks Schedule: 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week Shift Duration: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Hours Per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,470 - $2,600 Start Date: 09/14/2026 End Date: 12/15/2026 Job Requirements Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania Minimum of 1 year of NICU nursing experience required; 5 years preferred NRP certification required STABLE certification required Experience caring for critically ill neonates in a high-acuity NICU setting Ability to work nights, including every other weekend and every other holiday Strong communication skills and a collaborative, patient-focused approach Responsibilities Provide direct bedside nursing care to newborns in a NICU IV environment Monitor vital signs, assess patient status, and respond quickly to changes in condition Administer medications and support IV therapies according to established protocols Assist with neonatal stabilization, including support for infants requiring specialized care Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to deliver safe, effective care Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and thoroughly in the medical record Educate and support families with empathy during a challenging time Why Choose This Travel Nursing Job?
