Skilled Laborer-ElectricalResponsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of the electrical systems at jobsites while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient construction site and supporting the overall project.Essential Job Functions:Promote and comply with all Company and safety policies and proceduresComplete all required Safety documentationInstalling, maintaining, and repairing electrical control, wiring, and lighting systemsReading technical diagrams and blueprintsInspecting transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical componentsAssist in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues, ensuring system integrity and functionalitySafely operate a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and electrical testing equipmentPerform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipmentIdentify and repair breakdowns, faults, and malfunctionsRepair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using handtools and power toolsCollaborate with electricians to complete installations according to project specifications and timelinesMay be required to travel to different jobsites on limited noticeOther duties as assignedQualifications Requirements:Education and Work Experience Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and twelve months of related experience in construction Or equivalent combination of training and experienceKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:Take reasonable care of your own and others' health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward the company's Zero Injury principlesProficient with electrical tools and equipment, including power drills, saws, meters and testing devicesIn-depth knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and installation techniquesRead and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsCommon sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral formBe able to work within precise standards of accuracy and follow set procedures and standardsWorking Environment:Regularly exposed to outside weather conditionsFrequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; and extreme heatOccasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibrationNoise level in the work environment is usually loudWhat's in it for you Financial Wellbeing:Compensation: $24.00-$26.00/hourly, commensurate with experienceCompetitive pay with ongoing performance review and merit increase401(k) with company match & Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)Flexible spending account (Healthcare & Dependent care)Health & Wellness Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance (plan choice) - coverage for spouse, domestic partner, and children Diabetes Management, Telehealth Coverage, Prescription Drug PlanMasTec, Inc. is an equal employment opportunity employer.
