Machine Operation

Set up and operate press brakes and roll forming machines after the training period.

Load and secure sheet metal, tooling, and fixtures into machines.

Perform machine adjustments, tool changes, and program offsets as needed.

Monitor machine operations to ensure parts meet quality and dimensional requirements.

Assist in troubleshooting forming issues and suggest corrective actions.

Quality & Inspection

Read and interpret blueprints, flat patterns, and bend diagrams.

Verify part accuracy using calipers, protractors, height gages, and other precision measuring tools.

Conduct and document in-process and final inspections according to company standards.

Maintain accurate records for quality and production.

Operational Responsibilities

Perform daily machine checks, including hydraulic levels, lubrication, and overall condition.

Report equipment issues or malfunctions immediately to supervisors or maintenance personnel.

Follow all operational procedures accurately and consistently.

Participate in training to improve forming skills and technical knowledge.

Suggest and support process improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and safety.

Physical Requirements

Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.

Frequently lift and carry 20–50 lbs.

Perform pushing, pulling, twisting, squatting, and stooping motions regularly.

Reach, grasp, and perform repetitive movements continuously.
