OverviewNEO Surgical Group is seeking a detail‑oriented and organized Scheduling Coordinator to join our growing healthcare team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth patient flow and delivering an exceptional patient experience in a fast‑paced medical environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and manage patient appointment schedules accurately and efficientlyCommunicate effectively with patients, physicians, and internal staff to support scheduling needsUtilize HIPAA‑compliant systems, including Athena One EMR, to schedule and maintain appointmentsMaintain accurate patient records while ensuring confidentiality and privacy at all timesAnswer incoming calls, respond to emails, and address appointment‑related inquiries professionallyAssist with general office administrative tasks such as filing and documentationCollaborate with clinical and administrative teams to optimize scheduling workflowsEnsure compliance with medical scheduling protocols, policies, and regulatory requirementsQualificationsPrior experience in medical scheduling, healthcare administration, or related roles preferredKnowledge of medical terminology and medical office proceduresProficiency with scheduling and EMR systems (experience with Athena One preferred)Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently under pressureBilingual candidates are a plusIf you are a motivated professional with a passion for healthcare administration and patient service, we encourage you to apply and become part of the NEO Surgical Group team.
