Position Type: Contract 14 weeks 40 hours per week Required: Schedule: Weekly schedule will include 1 late shift of 12pm-8:30pm, 3 shifts ranging from 7:45am-5:30pm and Saturdays alternating every 4 weeks (hours 8a-12); will leave early on Thursdays if working the Saturday to make 40 hours. Schedules are available 2 weeks out. Responsibilities: Patient Service & Scheduling: Answering patient calls and handling inquiries promptly, following protocols and service standards. Scheduling appointments (in person or by phone), confirming details, and rescheduling or canceling as needed. Managing patient arrival and departure activities collecting copays, obtaining insurance cards, signatures, and referrals, and updating records in the EMR. Communicating wait times and patient flow to both patients and staff Financial & Administrative Tasks: Verifying patient demographics, insurance eligibility, and benefits Obtaining pre-authorizations, referrals, and coordinating benefits Regulatory & Compliance: Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local Maintaining patient confidentiality and safety Customer Experience: Anticipating patient needs and resolving issues promptly Building positive relationships with patients, visitors, and staff Get in Touch: We want to hear from you!
